 | San Antonio-Phoenix Trade: Repp for Edwards Monday, January 13th, 1969: The Baseball News Network is reporting that San Antonio and Phoenix have agreed in principle to a swap that will send 30-year-old center fielder Felix Repp and $2,000,000 in cash to the Fireballs with 19-year-old minor league shortstop Arnie Edwards and a 2nd round draft pick joining the Mission. San Antonio's general manager would not confirm the trade, but a team representative close to the negotiations said the deal is official and is now only awaiting approval from the league.
Repp has batted .323 for his career with 1375 hits, 256 doubles, 67 triples, 91 home runs, and 478 RBIs.
