Tuesday, January 7th, 1969: The El Paso Banditos have finished a deal with All Star-caliber third baseman Raleigh Taylor that will extend his stay in El Paso at least 3 years and will pay out $25,500,000.
In his career Taylor has played in 705 games with a .317 batting average. Among his 853 hits are 244 doubles, 18 triples and 109 home runs. He also has scored 394 runs and driven in 437 runs.
